Hi all, just wanted to say that I got my new basestation today!
Itæs great, and a doddle to set up.
Plugged in the base for power and my dsl modem. Started the thing up on my laptop (connected to the basestation), and off I went.

Maybe it is something of a placeboeffect, but I actually think it is quicker now than when I connected the dsl directly into my powerbook. I have a pc laptop connected to the base with wires, and this feels more "snappy" as well.

Have not checked any speeds yet, so it might be as I said purely placebo...

Will try printing and other utilities later this evening.

It took apple 26 days to deliver it by the way...that was way too long if you ask me..

Apple said that they were not shipping immediately...

I know, I know...
But when I was on the phone to them, they promised it about 4 times before it finally came.

I can wait for my stuff, as long as I know the things I am waiting for will be here when apple tells me they will...

All this fussing with them this time has been quite frustrating.
