Hey

I have been looking to get one for a while to convert a load of old tapes I have into DVD, however after looking at a few places the Apple Store quotes them as shipping in 1-2 days, and everywhere else says out of stock or 3-4 weeks.

I placed my order at the apple store, expecting an email confirmation, but I get an email saying they do not have sufficient stock to fulfill the order and someone will contact me.

Anyone got any idea what is going on? Or, more importantly, where I can get one? (In the UK).

Tom

PS: the email from Apple was horribly formatted, it was one big line, and Mail wouldn't let me scroll across. eurghh!!!
What are you looking for? A signature?

I bought mine from Albion Computing:

http://www.kellysearch.com/company.a...amp;pn=1745803

they used to be available in all sorts of Apple shops (Micro Anvika in Tottenham Court Road - or CanCom in Ken High Street)
