I'm considering selling my Lite-On 48x12x48 for a 44x Yamaha CRW-F1...purely for the Disc T@2 novelty :-P I found one on eBay, and it's listed as a Mac version. Is there really a Mac version? I had assumed that it didn't matter - Toast 5.2 should support it. Also..anyone have problems with the drive? Thanks

One thing to bear in mind is that Yamaha are soon to pull out of the CDRW market.

Earlier topic on this very subject here.

The drive should be identical, whether it be the PC or Mac version, but if there is a "Mac version", I would assume only the burning software would be different.

Good deal. I just use Toast 5.2 for everything. It's the best :-P
