Aloha,

Does anyone own the Espon 960? How does it do in Jaguar? Would you recommend this printer for photos?

This printer is great. The only feature it doen't have i belive on mac is th paper cutter but the pritns are amazing. Hopefully sone there will be a new driver out. Hope this helps

Thanks Ryan! Do you own one or use one regularly?

The reason I ask is because the Epson 960 isn't on Apple's list of OS 10.2 compatible printers....

I normally use it on my pc, but when i use it with my mac it works fine i am not totally sure but everytime i have used it it has worked flawlessly.

I just spent a half day, making calls to local camera stores that stock printers, and looking on the web for a 960, and it seems impossible to find one, except via mailorder through B&H Photo & Video. I just gave my daughter my Photo 870 for her iBook, so now I don't have a color printer. I don't need one immediately, but I'm really kind of stuck on the 960. I have a friend who's an Epson rep, and he told me recently that it is a great printer. One of the places I called today, however, told me that he thinks Epson may be coming out with some new printers soon, as his store hasn't had 960s for quite some time. When I go back to work Sunday, I'm going to check with my friend, and see what's up with the 960.

Keep us posted! I've done a ton of research on the net and really like the 960. I'm fairly sure Amazon has them in stock with free shipping......

i got mine at costco.com, they bifare have the best pricce i think 319? but if you don't like it or it doest work for you just take it back! you can take it back to a local store to!

No kidding, that's great news. Costco is on Maui and they do have awesome return policies. Our Costco seems to only stock HP printers with the stray Lexmark, but I didn't think about Costco online.
