Hi all,

I need to get a 17" CRT before the weekend. After using Apple Studio Display 17" for 2 years, I am spoiled by its high quality, cannot stand crap monitor anymore.

I can spend around ~$200, the picture quality is important, esp Text and contrast, I will stare at it over 8 hours a day (spreadsheet, text, photo, web) .
Since I am in a small town, please give me as much suggestions as possible, I need to buy it locally.

Just list the 17" CRT monitor you have experience with, so I know which one I should look for and aviod.

I went for a 17" Mitsubishi 740SB and am very pleased, and I guess it'll come into your pricing. New model is 750SB I think, and looks good with a Mac.

No complaints whatsoever.
