I recently acquired this mouse and thought I would share my thoughts. I own the wired version of this mouse and I've been very happy with it. When I discoverd Kensington introduced a wireless version I decided to give it a try.
The PocketMouse Pro is smaller than a typical desktop mouse but it's large enough to fit comfortably in my hand. The left and right buttons require very little pressure to push down. The scroll wheel can be used as a button but requires more force to push it down. The scroll wheel motion is stiffer that what I would prefer but it's not bad. Prehaps it will loosen up in time.
The USB receiver stores inside the mouse when not in use. The mouse turns off when the receiver placed into it. The USB receiver is L-shaped which can be problematic as it may block an adjacent port. It can be adjusted up to 270 degrees, however it may prevent you from tilting your screen back if your USB port is located on the back of your laptop. That what happens with my TiBook. The AlBooks shouldn't have this problem since the USB ports are located on the side.
Mouse tracking seems good. I noticed just a bit of latency when I started using it but I've probably adjusted to it. If feels heavier than my previous optical mouse since it contains 2 AAA batteries (supplied). The range seems more than adequate.
Overall, I'm satified with this mouse. I wish it had a smoother scroll wheel and the L shaped USB receiver can be a nuisance. But the PocketMouse Pro Wireless is small yet comfortable. I could easily use it as a my desktop mouse. Rating: 3.5/5

Thanks for the review! Just a note on latency, I own the wired version, and had latency problems, but it turned out to be a software issue, and now I dont have any problems! So maybe latency could be related to that.

Thanks for the review. I've been curious about this mouse. I wonder how long your batteries will last?
And I guess Tooki is tired of moving posts.

I never botherd installing the Kensington Mouseworks software. It seems to work fine on 10.2.4 without it. Am I missing something?

With mouseworks, you are able to configure the mouse a lot more espeically with tracking speed. Plus, you can assign the buttons to do different things in different applications. I'd recommend installing it. You might be able to adjust it more to your liking. Thanx for the review!

Good review . I'd just like to add since I have used these mouse for a month now that the wheel indeed loosen up on time. Overall I 'm very happy with it. The only bad thing would be the batteries that came with the mouse lasted for only a week!! anyway, it's a good device

My Kensington Mouse-in-a-box-optical pro bit the dust prematurely, but Mouseworks was most excellent.

Did it stop working? My sensor thing gave out and they sent me a replacement. Haven't had any problems yet with the new one.

I have this mouse too (wireless pocket pro) and I love it!! I'm just worried that one day, my pointer will just barely move on screen and I'll have no batteries. I've forgotten to take off the receiver from my PB and store it to turn it off at night once but it's still going strong. It's a great little mouse if you ask me and the receiver isn't intrusive at all on my 12" AlBook (on left hand side).

I have the same mouse and I haven't noticed that problem. Maybe a bad contact in the mouse button?
