On startup, a little window pops up and says that my Wacom Tablet driver was unable to start. It's BRAND NEW with the updated driver. So, uh, WTF? Is it compatable with 10.2.4?

Which driver version? Mine works, but the driver is from the fall. (version 4.7.5-65)

And have you tried a different usb port? Mine works off the keyboard (Which is itself connected to a powered hub). Others have said the tablets don't work well when connected directly to a powered hub.
