Will we see them at MWNY? Speculations? I hope so, cause I put $50 into getting Bluetooth for my new Power Mac.

I think Bluetooth keyboards/mice would be more useful on a laptop or iMac. Since a Powermac is generally kept on the floor off to the side of one's desk, I think it would be out of Bluetooth range. Laptops and iMacs, though, are generally right on the desk in front of the user where they would be in range. Of course, I'm not really a Bluetooth expert.

I have to agree that I don't see all that much use for wireless keyboards in most situations. They could be pretty neato though I suppose.

Microsoft has a kinda cool new Bluetooth keyboard and mouse product.

I'm considering using that wireless setup when I get a Shuttle PC setup, mostly for HTPC. It supposedly has a pretty decent range.

Bluetooth adaptors, like the one sold by D-Link, have a range of about 11 feet. Some more powerful adaptors can get up to 50 feet. But both would be well within the range for a keyboard and a tower.

Actual need is a different matter entirely. but it would be nice to reduce some of the wires going to the tower...
