Folks,

for various reasons I purchased the iPod for Windows version. I realize that there is no hardware difference between the two models.

Is there any way to get the iPod to sync with both my Mac and my Windows PC?
(Or does it require a reformat of the unit between such endeavors?)

I know that to use the IPod with a Mac as was intended that it has to be formated for Mac volumes which are a different file system than PC's.

Before the Windows version was available their was a program by Mediafor called XPlay that would enable a PC to work with an IPod. Obviously this will still work.
They sell it from the website directly and it works well. It does not however work with Audible content on the IPod,only ITunes 3 will do that.

a pc ipod should be able to be visible on the mac as an external hard drive. Maybe even as an ipod
