hello-
a few months ago i purchased a new printer, thinking
it would be more compatible with the OS i was running (9.2),
but then i recently upgraded to 10.2.3, and the printer operates
best with the 9.2, not the 10.2.3-
does anyone know of any printers out there that work well
with OS10.2.3??
it is frustrating to have a new printer that doesn't function well
with my operating system, so i may end up trying to purchase
another printer if anyone knows of a printer that works well
with 10.2.3-
thanks in adavance!

well, it is inconsistent with printing what i want.
and i am not sure why it will print sometimes and
not print at other times. also, when i start up my
computer, often it gives me something related to the printer
not communicating with computer, and having to
unconnect the printer and then to reconnect
the printer cable. when i was seeking tech
support from hp, they told me that it is best to reboot
the computer to OS9.2, and then print what i want
to print, because printing works better with the 9.2.
it is frustrating to not know what the actual problem is.
the reason i purchased a new printer was my older
printer didn't seem to work well with the OS upgrades,
and since the upgrades with the new drivers for my
older printer didn't help, i sold that one to get this new
one.
i am just curious if all printers (no matter what brand, model)
are having problems because OS10.2.3 is so new, and that
if i did attempt to get another new printer, would there just
be a different problem to contend with?
thanks for any suggestions--

hello-
i am using the photosmart X 205-
and today i spent about an hour on
the phone with the hp tech support,
and it seems like things are resolved
for now.
will need to keep printing to see if it really
continues to work, since the problem in the
past was inconsistent.
thanks-
precious
