Hello,

I've been trying to use an internal SCSI hard drive in an old APS enclosure. I was having all sorts of difficulties and then figured out that the root of the problem was that although the enclosure allows me to set the SCSI ID to whatever I want, no matter what I set it to, the ID remained to be 0 (like it was when it was in the computer I pulled it from). How do I get the drive to be the ID that I set it to on the enclosure, or, at least, how do I get the drive to be an ID other than 0. Currently I have several hard drives that I want to use the enclosure for: a Quantum 800 MB, an IBM 4.3 GB, and a Seagate 4 GB.
