i went to compusa to buy a new mouse. i went with intention on buying the microsoft notebook mouse. i had an old microsoft optical. i got to compusa and played around with the notebook mouse and it just felt too small for me. personal preference. so i looked around and i noticed that the optical mouse blue was $30 and the wireless optical mouse blue was $39. so i picked up the wireless

plugged in the reciever, put in the batteries and this mouse if very nice. i like the weight it has with the batteries.

question: is there any reason to install the intellipoint software? i never use the wheel click button.

No real reason... just fewer buttons will work. You do use the center wheel to scroll on web pages don't you? It absolutely rules.

It should work without extra software installed, though.
