Not too shabby. Assuming it functions and feels right, this might be a nice solution for many users who (like me,) appreciate that Apple look, but need more than one button.
Might be nice paired with one of these:
Or maybe not. I dunno...

Actually, it seems to be a different version of the mouse that's Mac-specific. The FAQ page on the MacMice site explains some technology difference.
I'd be leary of such a cheap "option."

Looks cool. I am thinking of getting one. My M$ wireless intellimouse has been giving touble lately.
has anyone actually used these yet? I am leary of the side-tilt click thing. I'd like some user reviews on how it works and such before i buy one. So if you have used it post a review... or if you know a review online we can look at, post the link.
thanks

That's a Contour Shuttle Pro. There is also a smaller one now too. It's USB and can be very handy programmed for your favorite apps (like FCP in my case.)

If my memory serves me right Wacom has a mouse which uses sideway tilting for "nudging" the cursor. Never tried it though...
MacMice looks like a really cool concept.
Please chime in if anyone is using it!

i just found out from macintouch.com that the guy who sells this mouse is also a guy who often hijacking other's people website to promote his business. Even the mouse is coming from another company's website:
http://www.adomax.com/products-frame.htm
look for the optical mice product. it only sells for $20-25, you have to pay $40 from his site though. Other than that, i don't know if this guy is trustable, has anyone bought anything from macmice.com?

I got really skeptical when they came out with this for 150 bucks:
Are they trying to get people pay for neck problems? Am I missing something here?

As Hardcat mentioned, you may want to read this report at Macintouch before you consider buying from this guy...

Yup This Jack Cambell guy is dodgy to the core, and apparently sees Mac users as good targets.
Buyer beware!

This guy is cracking me up now.

Hey look at me, I'm bald so I must be Jonathan Ives!
Is "Marketing Genius" Too Immodest?
Well Jack, as long as you're striving for accuracy, I would say that "Terminal Jackass," or "Morally Challanged Imbecile" would go a long towards meeting that goal.
He's also running:
www.dvforge.com
&
www.mactable.com
At Mactable, he claimed "his" tables were specifically designed for Macs. Yes Jack, and my kitchen floor is white and glossy, so it must be designed for Macs too .

Here we are presented with an entire line of products designed to allow Apple products to be randomly raised a few inches off your desk. Finally, a solution to the age old problems assocaited with using children's furniture to support Macintosh computers.

Yeh it's not too bad. At least it's not a rebranded PC product. But I've seen that little iPod stand priced at $59. I wonder what he'll want for the PB stand? A limb?

i was just thinking this..shesh how incredibly asinine....same w/ the LCD stand
oh wait...
this guy seems to be the King of raising things up afew inches...for really no reason...this one's pretty incredibly stupid...
yes...folks...its a stand for an PowerMate...made out of "state of the art" plastic...
"Taking advantage of modern materials science, some carefully developed light diffraction techniques, and built using precision manufacturing, the IceMate will blow your mind with how incredibly it "pumps up the volume" of the blue LED light source inside your PowerMate. Think, "Blue light... on steroids.""
he idea of the PowerMate suggests allowing a user to gently hold the aluminum knob between a finger or two and the thumb, and lightly spin the knob around its axis. In reality, you end up, instead, holding your hand up in the air, above the PowerMate, and reaching down to grab it between your fingers. Or, sometimes, you'll hold your arm in the air and reach down with just one finger, to give the PowerMate a spin. It turns out to be pretty unnatural to lay your hand on your desk surface and operate the PowerMate. It just sits a little bit too low to the desk to allow this more comfortable working technique
The Bottom Line
At one level, the idea of buying an accessory for an accessory might seem strange to some people. With the IceMate's improvements in both the looks and the functionality of the PowerMate, that thinking doesn't even apply. The IceMate isn't an "accessory" for PowerMate users; it's a necessity.
...rediculous
if someone pays $20 for a "lift" for they're Powermate, hell if anyone gives this guy ANY money for his "lifting" products, Americans really do have to much money and alot to complain about.

If you want that mouse get it from here instead for 22.95. As far as technology being different, well with all the other stuff he's pulled I doubt it. At any rate just get USB overdrive with it.

actually it doesn't bother me that much if this guy simply repackages other's product and sales them double the original price, we are the suckers who fall for it.
However i don't appreciate the fact that he hijacks other's photos and uses them on his own site and claiming that is he designs them.
