Well, the topic says it all. Not that all the rumors should become true but I find it somehow strange that there were a lot of rumors two weeks ago and now it is totally quiet on that topic.
...were holding things up. The new ones would need to be able to play AAC if this were true, and while this might only be a firmware update it'd be much smoother if all the newly released ones would do it out of the box.
That said, I'll buy an old one if they limit my usage of mp3s in any way.
