I searched this forum for the above term and found surprisingly little given all the apple monitor talk on this forum. I'm thinking of buying this display for use with one of the new G4 towers. Yes, its a bit more expensive ($2600 street price) than the apple products, but (i) its larger, (ii) offers higher resolution, (iii) much better inputs (dvi, s-vid, vga), (iv) equal or better specs in all areas (so far as i can see) and (v) some "extra" features, like split screnn/PIP functionality and some others. I've scene it and to my eye it looks as good as the 20 inch, but more real estate (by any measure). Though I admittedly have never had the chance to compare the two side by side. In addition, they've not had a "dead pixel" quality control issue.

So does anyone have any experience with this product with a MAC.

Is there any reason to believe that this monitor married with one of the new G4 towers would not be a match made in heaven, while allowing a significant amount of other funcationality (e.g., pc, HDTV, etc.)

sorry if this thread appears elsewhere. i'm new to the forum. thx.
