"On my new 12" G4 PowerBook with 640Mb Ram running 10.2.4 and a successfully Firmware upgraded MyTv 2 Go (checked the firmware version with the one listed on your tech support section) using the latest drivers/software available from your site, I am getting no satisfaction what so ever.
I first installed the MyTv "XTC" software package (downloaded form you site), as per the instructions with no other app's running and with the MyTv device unplugged (but successfully firmware upgraded).
The software appeared to install fine and everything looked good.
When I started the app (after plugging in the device), it bounced in the dock for about two to three minutes.
When the app's interface finally came up it would not/could not tune any channels (I selected all the right options, there's not too much to get wrong really) it's all pretty simple, which is good, is just doesn't appear to work which is bad.
After not being able to tune any channels, the app appeared to freeze on the prefs screen, it would get stuck on the tuning panel/process, and clicking exit would not let me quit the app, so I force quitted it.
I have now run the app at least a dozen times, and only ONCE did it successfully tune any channels, but a little while after doing this the app seemed to seize and I had to force quit, with all the tuned stations being lost, and of course the app not being able to find any again.
I get a lot of lock ups (in the app, not in OSX as a whole) when I ever I change or even look at another setting in the MyTv software.
I have never since been able to tune into ANY channels with the Cocoa software.
The reception in my area is good, and I have a signal booster attached to my aerial.
So I un-installed the software (first unplugging the hardware) rebooted and installed the Carbon software.
After having a number of similar problems, the program does work, but the FPS is VERY choppy, especially at full screen.
The sound is always very out of sync, and If I use the sound delay slider the TV Image becomes almost nothing more than a slideshow, this is while running NO other applications, in fact the only good thing I can say about these app's is that they don't seem to use much CPU power/time (I checked the CPU meter), although this came as a shock considering the extremely poor or non existent performance of the software.
This is unacceptable on a machine as new and powerful as mine, and I know how this app is supposed to work, as I used to own a MyTV (not the 2 Go version) and used it with my old Rev C iMac 192MB Ram and the the fps was flawless even at full screen (under OS9) using OS9 is not an option for me as my machine does not boot this OS.
I am seriously disappointed with this products software, And will be returning it and buying a Pinnacle TV card for my PC, if I do not get a prompt, satisfactory solution and/or explanation of/for the problems I've been having.
P.S your carbon De-installer does not work, only the de-installer for the CoCoa app actually works.
P.P.S These problems occurred when the unit was either plugged directly into my PB while on AC Power, or into a powered hub.
P.P.P.S
This episode has seriously damaged my impression of Eskape Labs and Haupagge, and unless these problems are swiftly identified, and then fixed, I will never be buying any of your products again, and will inform anyone else I know, of this, who might be considering purchasing one of your products.
The whole point of the Mac platform is that things "just Work", at the moment it seems to me that your products "just don't".
Sorry for the ear bashing but I am most displeased."

There U go in All it's glory.

Anyone else experienced any of these problems; found a soloution?
I've searched the forums and can only find two posts pertaining to this device, bot about two years old, so either no one buys this device, or it does work and I'm doing soemthing wrong or incredibly misfortunate

Writing tech support departments going "wah wah wah, I'm not buying
your stuff ever again and I'll be telling all of my friends that you
suck" is no way to get stuff working.

If you actually want to get things done with them, work with them.
It may take time.

But treating them like crap is a last resort and likely won't fix the problem, it just gives their support guys a headache.

It may be a known issue, they may have driver updates to fix it.
They may be in the works. Remember we just went to 10.24 and
perhaps the software was optimized for 10.23 or even earlier
like 10.22 or the like.

Have you even talked to or asked their support help about it before
you went off like a loaded gun with the safety off?

Maybe your right Todd, I'm just a bit pissed that all the hardware I've bought for the Mac recently seems to just not work properly under OSX if the manufacturer has to write there own software/drivers for it.
