What do you reccomend for a webcam that:

1) can work with a Mac and a PC
2) is reasonably priced.

Is Firewire or USB based one better?

I don't have a webcam - and the other day a friend asked me to do some research for her into which one to buy.

None of the manufacturers seem to provide drivers for OS X

Mac OS X has been out for , what?, two years now?

You seem to have to go firewire - because they don't have to write drivers for FW webcams.
You know it makes sense. ☼ ☼ ☼ Growl.

I've seen some digital cameras that also can double as a webcam. Are there any that work with OS X?
