Hello everyone.

I need help trying to connect a Nakamichi MJ-5.16 SCSI external CDROM drive into my Sawtooth G4. Everything (hardware-wise) seems to be OK. SCSI terminator, PCI SCSI card (Adaptec 2906), and the drive itself appears in SCSI Probe (version: 5.2) with ID 1, and under "Logical Units" ID 0 through 4 is in use (I have 4 out of 5 CDs in the drive).

Now the weird problem is none of the CDs in the drive appear on my desktop. No other program (ex: iTunes) recognizes all the CDs.

Oh, I'm using MacOS 9.2.2. I haven't used SCSI drives for a long time but I think I covered all the basic stuff like starting the drive during startup (instead of plug-in play), and again I have the terminator ON, with the right cables, etc.

Anyone with this Nakamichi drive who's got everything under control, or any advise would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot!

-Steve
