Help! USB External Hard Drive is no longer Detected!?!?!

I purchased a Drive Kit USB 2.0 for a 80 GIG HD yesterday!

After assembly I put it together and it worked initially.
However after powering down without using the Disk Utility application it no longer is able to even recognize the device being plugged in!

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!!!!
