Hoping to get my hands on a Dual 1.42 next week. Buying with 512 RAM and hoping to do better on the remaining 1.5 Gigs. Any recommendations.
Thanks in advance,

I bought mine (for G3) at www.macsales.com. Super-fast shipping and no problems. I see where people recommend crucial.com as well, but I have never tried them

No idea if it will work in a Mac but pricewatch.com has a 512meg PC2700 listed at $47 right now.

Crucial is pricy, but you always get what you pay for.

Cheap ram is a crapshoot, sometimes you'll get great ram, sometimes you won't.
cheap ram may for cause your system to crash once in a while, for example (which leads people to put the blame on the OS maker instead)

i wouldnt get anything but crucial.com memory.

ive had bad experiences with the "cheapest memory on ebay" deals in an old ibook. its just not worth it.

plus they have free 2 day fedex shipping.
