we bought this Microtek Scanmaker 8700 Pro Design to take care of our reflective scans and transparencies. Right now the transparencies are terrible. The color is off and they all come in out of focus.

I went and found the new kodak target files for calibrating ICC profiles that the scanner uses. But the color is still terrible there are lots of controls for balance, curves, b/w point but the base scan is out of focus and just sucks.

Has anyone had an experience liek this?
