Hi guys,
I have Iomega zip 250 USB powered and it is freaking SLOW. I want to get the firewire on this thing. Is it possible to do that? If so, can you guys get me a link so I can buy online?
the model I have is 31310. Thanks!

I think you are out of luck.
Found this link to Iomega Direct - there is a product at the bottom of the page but says it does not work with model#31310

I have a 250MB Zip also but rarely use it, preferring the size/speed of my Lacie PocketDrive (USB + FireWire)

The older USB zip drives let you get a firewire adapter that I have. It makes things twice as fast and is bus powered.

It doesn't work on the new drives though so I think you will have to look for an old one on ebay.
