Good day,
I don't know what its like in the US, but in Australia, (South Australia) Mac Peripherals really do suck!!!
I really, really want a new graphics card that is not out dated, and I don't think I can get one.
I went to my local apple store, and asked for they can give me a decent card for around 600-700 AU = to US400 (or close to it) and I was only given 3 options. They don't have any other cards beside these.
A radeon 32Meg AGP (probably old variety) graphics card, for 800AU =>400US equivalent
Or a shitty Geforce 2 MX for 360 UA = 170 US.
Or even worse a Geforce 4Ti, or >1700 AU = >950US.
Unbelievable, I was speechless. I paid 170AU or 85US for a Geforce 4MX for my PC. And yes I know that adding DVI support cost more, but x2 or x3 or x4 of the price???
Is my local Apple store ripping me off, or is it cheaper if I purchase it overseas over the Internet?
Oh yeah, they don't have them in stock, so I actually must order them in advance, WOW three options to order from.
