I'd like to get a very small MP3 player that has 256mb of memory and I've found two that seem ideal. One is by JetAudio (the CW200),
and the other is by MPIO (the FL-100). Has anyone tried either of these players on a mac running OS 10.2.x? MPIO says theirs is compatible with OS 10.1 and JetAudio says their's is only compatible with Windows. However, I remain optimistic that they might work with OS X because I've found many types of disk drives, cameras, and camcorders, are mac-compatible, even though the product label only states windows-compatibility. But, some things that were compatible with OS 10.1, aren't compatible with 10.2.x. So if anyone has any first-hand experience with these players and a mac, I'd love to hear it!
Thanks.
MPIO FL-100

Well I just ordered a MPIO FL100 so I'll report back when I've had it for awhile. But I have used my Dad's Creative Labs Muvo Nomad with my 1ghzTibook and my clamshell 466 ibook before that and the Muvo isn't mac supported in any way shape or form. The only problem I did have was there was one instance that I couldn't delete any files off the muvo and had to use a pc to delete them. Hope that helps.

The Muvo Nomad works very well with OS X, it just thinks it is a drive.

Yes It does see the muvo as a drive.... but sometimes the my muvo locks up all the files and won't release them without formating our deleteing from a pc...

that's my experience anyways....
Looking forward to my mpio fl100
I think it titanium too!
WooHoo!
