	I have downloaded and I am using the newest drivers for my scanjet 5500. It seems to have fixed the problem were the CPU cycles were being eaten up. This a very large download (169 meg) and if you don't have broadband I would recommend that you find somebody who does. The only problem that I have experienced so far is that my hard drive will no longer go to sleep on it own.
