Aloha all...

I have an eMac at work, and I rather enjoy having the CD-eject and sound control buttons on the keyboard. If I buy a new Apple pro keyboard, will these buttons work on my old B&W G3 at home? I'm running 10.2.4 on it.

Thanks.

Apple says you need either 10.1 or 9.2 on your machine, so you should be set. Hopefully somebody with a B&W can verify this for you.

I'm 99% sure it works fine (although I believe holding the F12 on the older keyboards acts the same.) And if you miss the power key you can also use this device.

The new keyboard should work fine. I have a beige G3 (running 10.2.4) and an old ADB keyboard and f12 works as the eject button just fine. And if I plug in a new apple pro keyboard, the eject button works as well. You'll be fine.

Works on the B/W G3s in our Apple computer lab ... (the old keyboards and mice were thrown out in favor of the new Pro ones).
I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minute of it.
