Does anyone know of a way to make the GeoPort Telecom adapter sense if a signal is a fax (and if it is pick it up) or a phone call that it allows to ring to the line connected on the other end in OS 9?

I really don't know if this would be for software or not, but it's so related to the paricular device. Thanks!
