I'd like to just put my iPod's EQ setting on one setting and leave it be. Which one is the best overall. I'm usually just leaving it on Rock.

Well, what kind of music do you listen to the most? Or, alternatively, you could set the EQ in iTunes, and it will carry over to the iPod. The iTunes EQ is used, unless the song has no set EQ, at which the iPod will use the EQ set in the iPod.

For my Sony MDR70-EX earbuds I use bass booster. But in the car, that preset is a little muddy for the car speakers we have so the "dance" preset works well for that even though we're not listening to "dance" music most of the time.

has to be bass booster, because those standard earphones don't have enough bass. I thought they were going to be something special. But they are just ordinary earphones.

Im getting sony had sony ones for 20bucks that sound a lot better.

I like the iPod headphones, they are nice and light yet good quality. If a bit lacking in the bass department

Agreed. For a small pair of earbuds, they're quite nice. Much better quality than the included earphones with any other MP3 player, that's for sure!
