I have an 20GB Ipod the backlight won't work.That I have to send it for repair. It still on warranty.I'm just wondering it this problem is very common.

there is something weird going on with my LCD screen,

It flickers, is this normal, i didn't notice it since lately.

I don't know if every ipod LCD screen flickers, but mine does.

If you look at your ipod upside down, you'll notice flicker, but now, in its upright position, it flickers nearly as much.

Do i have to send mien for repair, i got it 1.5 weeks ago?

Send it back and ask for a brand new one, 30 days new one or your money back. Dont settle for a repiared one

The dude at the apple store told me that it was normal, but if i wanted it replace i would have to wait about a month.

So thats what i did, im going to what so he have to replace it.

I told him i hated to be a pain, but what if the problem gets much bigger in the future. and he agreed.

Is the LCD flickering or the backlight?

My backlight flickers a lot, and I'm begining to wonder about it... and battery life isn't too great either

No its the actual LCD,

eg if the is a song title displayed the title would flicker,
like its moving but its stationary, its sometime all black or sometimes flashes grey around the edges.
