bluetooth would be very unpractical for a digital camera. it has a speed of approximately 1mbps, which is a 12th of the speed of USB1.1 and a 400th of the speed of firewire. pictures would take far too long to transfer. the only practical use i could see would be a battery powered webcam or low resolution camera, but not for any real heavy use. Also, BT takes battery life that a USB connection wouldnt.

The only one I've seen is Sony's DSC-FX77. I don't really know what you can do with the Bluetooth. I would guess if it's like their Bluetooth HandyCams you could email directly from the camera over a Bluetooth mobile phone. Also I don't think it's available in US yet, only Europe.

over all i think bluetooth is over rated, and i think it will fail if it tryies to out step its boundaries, keep it with PDAs Cellphones and other digital devices that don't need a fast connection.
headphones and digi cams are a little pointless.
Hey how comethere isn't a bluetooth hard drive? i think the market would be huge

There are also a few BT enabled DV cams that Sony makes. More still cams are in the works.

In some experimentation I did a couple of years ago with a Bluetooth developer's kit, I rarely saw application-level throughput of more than 600 kilobits per second, which comes out to about 75 kilobytes per second. Figure about 750kb for a typical 3 megapixel image, and you're talking 10 seconds per picture. Completely unacceptable.
