I'm going to purchase the bose freestyle speakers. The best place for me to put the sub-woofer is next to my quicksilver. Will the vibrations be detrimental to the tower?

thanks,

I'd be just as concerned about any magnetic fields around the subwoofer, though (hopefully) it should be shielded. Worth checking.

Sure you can't put it on the floor? IMHO that's where they're designed to be placed. Subwoofers don't really need to be anywhere close to either you or the speakers; bass isn't particularly directional - unlike higher frequencies.
