USB 2.0 Cardbus Troubles

	I bought a compusa branded usb 2.0 cardbus pc card for my powerbook and a compusa branded usb 2.0 hard drive enclosure. Both claim to suppport OS X. I have yet to get these things working on anything other then USB 1 speed. For example a 15 gig folder says it will take 6 hours, while my firewire drive can do it in 16 minutes. Any ideas? I only bought this becasue they were out of firewire enclosures and I needed it today. I did contact the tech support, and got a message saying all reps were busy, leave a message and they will call back. What the hell kind of tech support doesn't have let you wait on hold? Anyone have any experience with these?
	15" Macbook Pro 1.83 2 GB RAM Blackbook 13.3 Powerhouse 2 GB RAM MacMini Dual Core 2 GB RAM (Sadly running Windows Most of the time) Numerouse Workstations running windows and Linux. Sorry don't have the specs, I don't pay much attention to them anymore. :)
