OK i have a personal LaserWriter 300 that was in retirement but needs to be put back in use. It will be used with a 7500 running 9.1.


I have it plugged into the printer port and have tried countless times to have it come up as an option in the chooser. It is not under LaserWriter 8. The only printers listed in the chooser are an imagewriter, a Samsung USB printer, and Color SW2500. What am I missing that the printer can't be selected.

Under the system profiler seems to be able to see the LaserWriter.

What am I missing? This was a great deal easier when it was used on a Mac running 8.1
