I have a Mac ipod, but want to use it as a removable drive also to store PC data that i do at school.

What format must i reformat my Ipod, so that it is readable on both PC and Mac. My friend has a usb mini drive and it is a FAT file system, it works on his pc and my Mac. Should i formate my iPod as Fat, its a 10 giga, or can i partition it so that one is fat, and the other is HFS+ or is there another way.

One more question, i don't have any PC ipod software, so can i just download the driver 1.26 of the PC verion and would it work on my ipod the mac veriosn.
