Finally I seem to have found a cheap second-hand airport base-station, it is not airpot extreme of course

I have a Ti550, where the airport-card (not exterem) is put inside the computer, and I don't know at the moment which airport basestation I am buying

Is there anything that I need to think about? Are there any non airport extreme airport-cards that are incompatible with with my powerbook or with the airport basestation?

Are there any software issues?

thanx!

If you're not getting an AEBS, I'd recommend getting a 3rd party wireless router, instead of a used ABS. They are much cheaper and in some ways better. Check out the Networking forum for more info.

All Airport-variations work together, Extreme or not. Don't worry, just buy it and be happy . You should buy a non-extreme card for your PowerBook (the new extreme card won't even fit in your 'Book). And no software issues AFAIK.
