Recently, after over a year of use, an EZ Quest external HD became unbootable. Was running 10.2.4 on it and 9.2.2 on the desktop to which it is connected. Tried a reinstall of the original Jaguar OS, but that hasn't solved the problem. The drive is seen on the OS 9 destop OK and files on the drive are also visible, but booting directly by holding down the Option key at Startup or by selecting it in OS 9's Control Panel is not possible. To those of you familiar with EZ Quest - if I said that the green power light comes on normally, but the amber light indicating drive spin only comes on briefly and then flickers out - would you say I've got a hardware and not a software problem? Thanks for any advice!
