hey all, i was wondering if anyone had any experience with switching from windows to mac in reference to this upgrade. _here's my story.

i have an ipod and used it on my windows pc for about 6 months. _had the typical weird battery indicator and shortened life that many had on 1.2.2 _upgraded to 1.2.6 and it was FANTASTIC. _i charged it maybe once a week.

now, a few weeks ago i got myself a 12" powerbook (lovin it!) and i reformatted my pod to work on the mac. _worked great, the speeds on the firewire were maybe twice as fast. _however, my battery is now behaving extremely poorly. _i used to be able to leave it for a few days and not have the charge dissapear but that is no longer the case. _at first i thought this was because i was using the contacts and calendar, but i deleted that from my pod and still no luck. _i'm considering a complete restore....do you think this will help?
