Does anyone know the difference between these two printers (perhaps the same?) there is a £30+ ($50) price between them the cvi the cheaper

Most likely none. HP is notorious for selling the same product with multiple, slightly different, model numbers, so that retail stores can deny price matching ("sorry, it's not the same model, i can't adjust the price").
