I just got a friend to switch to Mac and now that he's bought a G4 he needs a monitor to go with it. He'll mainly be working with digital video editing and the like, so it should be preferably a 19in and something high quality like a Trinitron or a Diamondtron. He has maybe $300 max to spend on it, so it might have to be refurbished or open box. Any help guys? Thanks

and many other PC places has test of monitors.

For 250-300 he can find quite a number of nice new monitors.

But if you can lend him $100, i'd recommend the Sony 19" G420 (or the LaCie monitors). Great monitor for graphics and video work. Might as well spend the extra cash if he can.
