I got the iPod for 10mons and I have send it for repair the only problem is the backlight is not working and everything is perfect. I seldom use my iPod at night. I just don't find it cool if there is no backlight. But anyways I only waited for a least 5days and I got a new iPod for replacement.Maybe a sign for new things to come: iPod coming this month. I should have waited maybe they would send me a new revision of new iPod. Just a thought.

yeah... I think I'm going to wait a bit before I break my iPod -- err I mean before I get my "already-broken" iPod replaced.

yeah apple doesn't mess around with the iPod repairs. I have had 3 iPods because one would break and the other did too.

I didn't break them it was always something with the hard drive from me.

One was it would not read a sector. the second time it would not show up in any computers finder.

I guess they are more than happy to replace now, as they don't want all that stock of the old models sitting on the shelves when (if) the new model is released?
