Hi, has anyone come across this problem with the new 4-port Iogear KVMP switch? I have a Mac G4 867, 8600 and a Dell hooked up to it, and hook up my iBook every now and then if necessary. I was using a 2-port KVM before I got the 4port KVMP and this didn't happen...when the Mac goes to sleep on its own, the screen flickers with horizontal lines which jump up and down, in black white and gray. It doesn't happen if I put it to sleep manually with the Special menu (I'm in 9.2). Sleeps or hibernates or whatever (I'm not a PC person but needed it for accounting software so not so familiar with the platform!) FINE with the Dell. I'd like it to go to sleep on its own to save energy; also if I'm switching between the Mac and PC, when I go back to Mac the screen is flickering. very strange. any ideas? Iogear has been less than helpful thus far, blaming the Mac sleep function..however I thought I'd come here to see if anyone else has run into this problem or has any advice...thanks so much, in advance, as always...
& Aloha!
