Is there any advantage (sound-wise, compatibility-wise) of a USB over a PCI sound card?
I'm looking at the M-Audio Sonica Theater USB (which seems to be a Revolution 7.1 on an external card) vs M-Audio's Delta 66 PCI card for a set of Swans T200a studio monitors and Swans Sub200 subwoofer (both the studio monitors and the sub have their own amplifiers built into them). Any thoughts?
