Could anyone suggest a good backup power supply? I'd like something with tight Mac drivers. Not too pricey.

You have a choice of several. I use Belking UPS Pro Gold and it works just fine. The drivers seem to be really good and I have owned the UPS since I bought my Power Mac two and half years ago. APC also produces a very good product with good Mac drivers.

What ever you do make sure the UPS is line interactive. Not just a power backup. This will help protect your system from brown outs as well as surges.
