I have an original 5 GB iPod purchased the first month it came out, but don't have it handy.
And I can't seem to find specs on the old iPods.
Anyone have the info of the size and weight of the 5, 10 and 20 GB iPods in comparison to the new 10, 15 and 30 GB versions?

I checked the specs earlier today because I also have one of the original 5GB models. The new ones are lighter and thinner (remember, the previous 10GB model was thinner than the 5; I'm pretty sure these are thinner still). I can't remember the exact numbers, though.

Depends if you're figuring in the new, propriety cable neccessary to plug it into another computer
But seriously, the new one is smaller but you can't just use any ole firewire cord. I always thought it sucked having to carry around special cords for every peripheral... one more thing to think about and stuff into your pocket before leaving the house.

Your 5 GB iPod is older and fatter than the new ones. It's probably slower too
Quick, hop on the upgrade merry-go-round There's always room for one more
