To anyone going to their local Apple Store tonight between 6-10pm, if you can snag an extra launch t-shirt/poster, I'd be willing to pay extra & pay for shipping to get my hands on one. I'm tied up tonight and just can't make it, but I'll pay extra to get a shirt, and I'm not partial to which store it comes from. Please post if you think it's possible, I have feedback on eBay if you wanna see, and a verified PayPal account to send the funds ASAP. Thanks guys!

Welp, wanderlust has agreed to pick me up a shirt & poster from tonight's event, so I'm all set, but for any other's out there, I'm sure if you can get a few extras that people in the Marketplace forum and possibly eBay (and certainly online places like www.redlightrunner.com) will give you some cash for the limited edition shirts/posters.

Thanks again, and enjoy the event tonight if you're lucky enough to get to go!

Booo! No apple company stores here. There are some really nice 'specialists', however. My 30GB is scheduled to ship Friday or Monday - way earlier than the 'prescribed' date. So, I should have my new player by the middle of next week! Just in time for my Friday/Sunday road trip I'm planning.

I'm really anxious for it to come, but I'm certainly engrossed by the task of re-encoding my CD collection. Been going since Monday, several hours a day, and I'm half way there. I've picked about 200 albums from my 450-CD collection, and it looks like it's going to take about 20GB of space at 320kbps AAC. Pretty big files - but really nice quality.
