$100 off the price for a trade in, and that's for the old 5 GB model. Trade in a larger-capacity iPod and get an even bigger discount. They say "call for details" so the deal could be subject to some kind of "adjustments", but it looks like a good deal. I trade my 5GB original for a new 10 GB model and pay only $149 ?! You mean you pay 194?

Unless they are selling the 10gb for 249?

Something's fishy here. PowerMax lists the new 10 GB model at $249 which is from where I was calculating the discount to $149. But Apple lists the new 10GB model at $299. Either PowerMax is selling them at a $50 discount (highly unlikely) or the quoted price includes the discount. But that would only be a $50 discount, not the $100 advertised. Looks like they jacked their iPod price up by $50 over the Apple store price, then applied the discount, thereby cutting the price break in half. Sneaky and sleazy. Fsck 'em.

I'd stray away from this, it's a terrible deal either way. Your best bet is selling it on eBay and purchasing a new one.
