JBL Creatures w/ Toshiba laptop?

I am interested in getting the JBL Creatures, but right now I have a Toshiba Tecra laptop.
I'm going to get a 12" PB when I turn 18 (that's when I can get the 'education' discount), and that's about 4 months away.
I intend to use the Creatures with the PB once I get it, but I thought that it would be nice to get them now, and use them with my current laptop. So, is it compatible? And what kind of connector does the Creatures use?

Yep, it'll work just fine on your PC laptop as they require no special drivers to function.
They simply plug straight into your "Line-Out" or "Headphones" jack on your PC laptop or Mac laptop.
Also, if you haven't considered the ADC Discount, you should really look into it. If you need further information on it, just let me know.

AssassyN, we don't have the ADC discount here, at least not in The Netherlands (as far as I know). We do have the education discount, that can be used multiple times, as long as you follow some sort of education and you are 18+. Thanks anyway!
