I've got an older laptop HD and FireWire bridge (from a QPS Que! CDRW). I bought a 2.5'' to 3.5'' adapter, hooked it up... The drive spins up as usual, but never shows up on the Desktop. From past experience, I know that FireWire drives (internally, IDE) like to be set to Master. How can I jumper it to make it Master?

I checked out Toshiba's page about the drive, and it was quite unhelpful. (It's a MK2105MAV drive). It does have 2 rows of 2 pins by the data connector.. like this : :

I'd like to jump them, but I'm not sure what they do, and I'm afraid I'll fry it by connecting something incorrectly. Any ideas?
