Jesus christ. Thank you. You have just proven (this is also directed at the poster right after you), that there is someone on this planet that has a more obsessive compulsive behavior than me.

I am showing these pictures to my wife right after I post this. Great job guys!

Hey good fine. I too have a fondness for iPod lounge, yet I don't visit it enough, just a lazy MacNN I guess Really great pics though, tell the story rather nicely. I never noticed that the very top of the Original iPod was white plastic as opposed to the chrome, learn something new everyday.

Grrrrreeeeaaaatttt.....

Now I want one too. I was looking to buy an older version, but now....

3rd gen iPods are not yet available on Guam, and won't be for a few months!!!!

The old 10gb sold for $499 here. Not good. I need to get somebody from the US Mainland to send me one.

Er, I want one.

Really.

I have one of the coolest friends in the world.... She wanted me to set her up with a nice computer system... she is a forensic nurse, and I told her to get a 12" power book... so she ordered it, and two iPod 15 gigers.

one for her and one for me!

she's so cool... and beautiful.

my other pals are mad that I put her up to getting a mac, I told them that I knew I would be "tech support" so I wanted her to get a system that doesn't lock up or break down.

Evil!

Before this thread, I was content with lugging CDs around. Now I lust after one of these electro-jewelery-esque iPods.

I mean, Damn! Those are shiny. Once again I find myself obsessing over lickable electronics.

When will my iPod order status change from "open" to complete!?

Very cool picks. Helps alleviate the buyer's remorse I usually get from my impulse purchases.

i wonder what % of the new ipod purchases were impulse buys?

i have been waiting for the new ipod, but i also had been sitting for a long while wondering if i should click on the place order button. and then just clicked and it was done, and i had a new ipod on the way and $400 less in my bank account.

but i do not regret the descision, i love my ipod.

anyone else?

Yep, that's the problem... it's just too easy to do. Click a button and a few days later you get a present in the mail.

I don't suppose anyone has a pic of a new iPod playing Parachute, do you?

I'm buying one no matter what, I'm just curious what it's like.

Man, do those buttons really light up like that? Too cool.

I too cannot get over how thin the new Pods are. Make the originals look chunky.

Yep, yep!!! I've still got the actual game cart., but about 3 years back my Atari blew up. Literally, it started smoking while I was playing "Pitfall"...such a sad day.
