Yep, I had those problem on my 10gig iPod. Just put them all up there, set aside a few hours, and scroll down the list, and for every song say: "Will I honestly want to hear that song most of the time, or will I simply hit "Next" when it comes on?"

Putting simply the best, then next-best, etc. until it's full worked for me.

LOL - I believe that you're hinting that you need the new 30 GB iPod, yes?

i actually thought about that. i still can use my ADC discount for an iPod. i think i know what my problems are right now. its im stuck on Windows til i get my wife's iBook.

i just recently sold my 800DVI & sent half of the $ to my wife for her tuition/books. i was really bummed about it. now i'm just waiting for my wife to ship me her iBook. my wife goes to Grad School in Toronto.

off topic:

my dual 1GHz PC seems slow compared to my old 800 DVI.

You're really crazy if you can spend $500 on a music player.. a few days later spend another $500 on yet another.

Why not just make several smart playlists that pick out songs you've never heard, or that you haven't heard recently. Set up your iPod to automatically sync those playlists. Then everytime you sync, you'll get new songs placed on the pod.

Voila, you can walk through your collection just like that!
